The first of two children, Johan Starport and his brother Basil, orphans, had to take care of themselves early in their lives. Where they were born, there was no helping structure for children. No family, no friends, nor even money, but hunger, loneliness, cold and anger.

But they managed to survive eventually, mostly by robbing and scamming people. A strange man, known as "the Mister" found them at some point, as Basil tried but failed to fraud him, and gave them a little help and raised them as best as he could. Once adults, though, the man disappeared from their lives.

Johan started his career as a simple trader, as the younger one left the bubble in "seek of truth" on a long journey somewhere in the galaxy. Since then, they barely saw or contacted each other.

Johan got recruited in a mercenary squadron at some point, and learned all his skills there. Since then, he has dedicated his life to this purpose. A strong believer of Pranav Antal theories, he dedicated some of his free time to the cause.
